As you all have previously read, Bro. Dale had a fall last Friday. After further tests and admission to NMMC yesterday, he had surgery today. The hip was fractured and 3 pins were put in. He is doing as well as can be expected, still very sore. He is in room #4402. He will rest today and they will try to walk him tomorrow.
Mrs. Doug started radiation last week and is still in "optimistic mode."
As always, they both covet all prayers as they face each new day and what it has in store.
I would like to share this message that Bro. Dale wrote some time ago. I read it from desk daily. I just feel as if Bro. Dale is living this and he would tell you if he were able.
"We need encouraging words. We need true words. We need an anchor on which to solidify our hope. We need God.
What frightens you? What gets you down? What makes you want to quit? Look beyond the problem and see the Lord!"
"May God bless us as we seek and trust Him."
