I
went to the oncologist today and got the final results. The cancer has
not spread and is not aggressive. The Dr. said the tests came back
perfect. I will take a chemo pill for five years and I go see a
radiologist next week to get the radiation treatments started. As far
as I know now it will be for 5 weeks 5 times a week.
Dale
is doing good. He is getting more independent every day and is
counting the days until he can stay by himself. He still has a ways to
go before he will be able to do that. The Easley determination has set
in. We went back to Jackson last Wed. and got more Botox shots. The
arm and hand seem to be loosening up now. Please pray for him that his
sight will be completely restored and that his speech will return. He
seems to be more emotional about those two things right now.
Love you all,
Doug and Dale
"1 But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
3 For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;" Isaiah 43:1-3
