Bro. Dale is doing great. They put him on parallel bars and they put a board in the middle to keep his feet in line. His foot can't go over in front of the other with it that way.
In OT they have been using the electric stimulation on his hand and he's been able to open and close it.
In Speech, they gave him clearance to eat whatever he wanted and double portions to build him back up. Today they brought him a piece of cordon bleu chicken, yellow rice, green beans, ham, a tomato wedge, a roll, 2 Boost puddings, and a glass a tea. He ate all of it except for a little of the pudding. Mrs. Doug asked if he was planning to plow a field after all that!
The doctor came through and said that she watched him in speech today and he did really well with that and she could tell how hard he was trying. (Of course we had no doubt that Bro. Dale was going to do his best!)
Tomorrow most of his therapy will be in the afternoon. They will do evaluations tomorrow, so there will be more to report tomorrow.
